I might be getting "special treatment" but who's to say every/most customers don't also feel that way!? We all want mechanics that have integrity, do an excellent job, and communicate clearly. I have found this to absolutely be the case!!! At I86 you get friendlier (and better) service than a dealership, without the mistrust and extreme costs. Jerrod and Jason are top notch!!!!
I was very pleased the friendly service I received today. There is always a slight bit of stress when it comes to auto repair for me, but being greeted with friendly people makes it so much better. They were definitely a Blessing and highly recommended.
Completely and totally impressed once again with my second experience dealing with them. New Year as completely new issue. Highly recommend them for any medium to heavy duty truck services you might need. Incredible technicians, customer service, and prices. Even drove me to and from my hotel no questions asked. They went above and beyond in every facet. Wish I could give them 7 stars.
As a 26 year OTR truck driver,(13 of which I owned and operated my own trucks and trailers), I have spent my fair share of time dealing with equipment breakdowns. It's very refreshing in today's world of piss poor customer service to find a knowledgeable shop with old school values. Had to call them at 8:30 am on Saturday before Easter for a road call, and the owner himself was there within an hour with all the proper diagnostic equipment to get the job done. Had to be towed in for extensive repairs all dealing with today's EPA emissions bullshit. They were spot on with their diagnosis, they communicated with me every step of the way, took me to and picked me up from the hotel, and turned a bad situation into a pleasant experience. I feel that I have made new friends in Falconer, NY. Thanks to Nate and his entire staff for a job very well done.
Lastly I wanted to elaborate on a few simple things they did for me. I appreciate how thorough they were on my alignment. It took longer but the job was done right, something I have not experienced at other places. In addition, Monroe Muffler was unable to fix my TPMS sensor problem and it was routine for I86. Sometimes it's not worth it to go to "cheaper" chains.
They are very friendly and helpful. I had a water pump replaced and they got the part same day and had me back out on the road less than 24 hours after I broke down. They gave me a ride to a local hotel and even took me to get food. I honestly cannot say enough good about this place. And if the owners happen to read this, thank you so much for running such a top notch repair shop!
I do a lot of my own work so it's great to have a garage like this that can do the jobs I can't or don't have the time to do. They also worked with me on allowing me to shop around for parts and install the part(s) that I was able to find at deep discount.
To give this review some credibility, I will add some constructive criticism (but please note the 5 stars I gave). Some of their prices seem high. In general this is because they will go the "extra mile" and use specialized additives from BG. If you just want something "run of the mill", you may want to shop around or you can ask them what is included in the service and why there is an added benefit. You may want what they are offering or you may want to go elsewhere. Since this business is awesome at customer service and communication, I would ask first before blindly agreeing to have a service package (transmission service, coolant flush; etc) performed.
